Best I’ve seen the team play
This mornings friendly was entertaining from start to finish. I left the boys to figure out how they wanted to play (with a little guidance from me) and the two mini coaches were given the task of offering advice and guidance to the boys on the pitch which worked really well, all the boys then took ownership of how the team plays. From start to finish they all gave 100% effort which led to numerous shots on goal, the opposition keeper, the posts and a few miss hits kept the score line down, with an absolute wonder save from Farryl in the last minute keeping us in the game. The way we played out from the back and moved the ball in midfield was tremendous today, we just need to learn how to take our chances and start putting the ball in the net more. That will come and we will move on to tomorrow’s game with our heads high, confidence high and Try to bring more creativity into our game play. Big thank you to all the parents this morning for their support and also Ravi for refereeing.
