A heavy defeat
It seemed like the break due to the adverse weather last week had its affect on the boys as they started this game asleep. There was no pressing and tackling and Parkfield were just being allowed to play their game. We were lucky that at the end of the first half we were only 3 nil down. Much didn't improve at the start of the third quarter and Parkfield were high in confidence and were playing a good passing and counter attacking game which allowed them to score a further four goals to end the quarter 7 nil.
The final quarter although heads down, saw the boys attack a bit more and Urrav Macwan
had a header cleared off the line. However in search for that goal it left the back exposed which Parkfield capitalised on and scored another two goals to end the game 9 nil.
Not our best performance of the season and it could have been worse if it hadn't been for some excellent goal keeping from Satnam Paul
, who was the man of the match.
