Home goes away
A good performance doesn't quite get its reward
This was meant to be a home fixture but with the pitches at Grosvenor Vale waterlogged, the friendly and sporting Pitshanger management offered us a pitch and the game could go ahead.
This was a really well contested game lit up by two things. Tilly played out of her skin in defensive midfield, making so many tackles and interceptions that everyone lost count. And Juan scored the best contender so far for goal of the season - with the ball rolling across the edge of the area, our Spanish star hit a beautiful curling shot into the corner of the net, reminiscent of Fabregas or Villa.
Annoyingly at 2-1 down and chasing the game we gave away a soft third goal with four minutes to play, a real shame because this performance deserved at least a draw
