Wealdstone U9 White vs Elite Magic
Another close score but Wealdstone just keep on winning
We have played Elite Magic only once previously in the league and won quite comfortably that day, Elite were a well organised team who played with a good team ethic. Wealdstone having won each of our previous games by a one goal margin were hoping for a slightly less stressful finish to the game then the previous games. The weather was cold and very windy but the wind was across the pitch rather than assisting one team or the other.

Jon with a good cross into the area with both Harry W and Troj breaking into the box the keeper did well to intercept. Final whistle.
Despite the close score-line this game was not as even as it seemed. Wealdstone out played Elite Magic throughout the game and had many more clear chances and lots of opportunities which fell apart in the build-up. Elite were a good team who had strong players who were comfortable in their positions but their main chances were long shots, they had two scrappy goals which should have been cleared, a goal from distance which would have been saved on another day and a penalty which was a little bit generous. Wealdstone found themselves in many good positions and with a bit more guile and a few quicker passes we could have scored a many more goals.
