6 Stones and 4 Gems !!!

Hillingdon district played Barnet today knowing 3 points would see them crowned champions with 2 games reaming. The lads have been superb all season and deserved to be champions. Despite coach Angus away celebrating his 50th birthday and Mathew, Harry, Vinnie and Rasharn all unavailable we only had 10 played available this week. All the boys gave everything as always despite going 1-0 down in the first 10 minutes and to be honest out played for the first 1o minutes we did eventually control the game and win 5-2.

Our equaliser came 15 minutes in Domm put in a great cross and Ryan the smallest man on the pitch rose highest to head home and make it 1-1 a really good header. Minutes later it was 2-1 to Hillingdon Reece working so hard a grabbing a good goal. with 5 minutes to play in the first half it was 3-1 Reece was fouled in the area and who else but Mr cool Lewis Hartley to step up and score from the spot I have actually lost count how many pens he has scored this season for club and district.

Half time 3-1 to Hillingdon.

Second half was all Hillingdon we dominated it Reece made it 4-1 then Reece provided a great assist for Ben to make it 5-1, Alfie who ran his socks off as always should have made it 6 but went round the keeper and hit his effort wide. Luke Josh Lewis and Jake were very good at the back and controlled everything Barnet had to offer. Barnet did grab a consolation a goal a free kick near the half way line some how ended up in the top corner a very lucky strike.

The game ended 5-2 and Hillingdon were crowned champions of the league but we still want to win our remaining games to maintain our 100% record.

Man of the match Domm.

Well done lads fantastic achievement all season the squad have been superb winning the league at there first attempt.

Squad - Jake, Lewis, Josh, Luke, Ryan, Domm, Jack, Reece, Alfie, Ben, Mathew, Harry, Vinnie, Rasharn well done lads.
